14th China International Hair Fair: Delving Into the Global Market
The 14th China International Hair Fair brought thousands of people in different nationalities to Guangzhou, China on the first week of September 2024. The event had three days of fun exhibit which took place on September 3 – 5, 2024. China International Hair Fair is an annual trade event for the hair industry. This event is said to be the largest trade event for human hair extensions and wigs. The fair is intended to present the most recent human hair extensions, wigs, hair care products, technology, and trends from across the world. It contains exhibitors from China and other nations, as well as manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and hair industry service providers. My Filipino Hair joined the world class hair event to further showcase its variety of human hair products such as wigs, hair extensions, toupees, lace closures, and lace frontals which are carefully selected and created for our dear clients. Aside from our line up of products, we also have services to offer for those who already have raw hair materials and wants to turn them into beautiful hair masterpiece. Starting with our wefting service, where we have a standard of one hundred grams per bundle, and a standard volume of hair distribution in a weft track. However, we are open for client suggestions on the weight and density they require. On the other hand, we also offer knotting and injection service, where we can transform your hair supply into beautiful closures, frontals, wigs, and toupees. We have a mechanism called “count hair in the box” that tells workers how much hair to place in a specific region. This insures that the hair is equally distributed throughout the product. The moment we got the news about the event to be held at Guangzhou China, we were thrilled to participate and enter a more diversed global market. From months of proper planning and execution, we once again stepped on a grand event like this. Hosted in a country where technology is very booming and most common in use, we specifically had our company profile for public access via QR codes. It also includes information about our product pricelist, measurement charts, mode of payments, etc. The majority of the guests who visited the booth were Asians, notably Chinese. Some came from Vietnam, Japan, and others come from the United States, United Kingdom, the Dominican Republic, Rome, Ethiopia, Australia, and India. On our booth, we had different hairstyles displayed. From the classy, silky straight hair down to the sophisticated and unique curl hairstyles. We have our best selling machine weft hair extensions, which are weaved carefully, uniform in thickness and has even distribution of hair materials
Who would not get intrigued by a brand who does the hair ventilation in real time? To add an extra gusto for the visitors, My Filipino Hair showcased a live hair ventilation process on its booth! Hair ventilation is the method of linking individual strands of hair to a wig cap base, usually with a mesh foundation or netting. A ventilating needle, also known as a knotting hook, is an important tool to have when first starting out. This instrument is used to put individual hairs into the mesh or netting, allowing to get the correct density and style. The needle can be used in a variety of ways, and with proper skills, you will be able to create a variety of looks. It takes time and experience to become an expert at ventilation, but once you have perfected the process, you will be able to create magnificent, high quality wigs. Different hair ventilation processes were done during the three days event which focuses on the skin base toupee, french drawn, hair injection itself, and the full lace. We also had some visitors who tried our live hair ventilation or injection process. Guided by one of our skilled staff, a curious visitor from Europe got a chance to try the knotting process by himself. The photo above really shows how our visitor perfomed the actual hair ventilation. In this way, we were able to capture the attention of the bystanders and other visitors to participate and better engage with our brand. They also had a better understanding of how difficult and time consuming it is to process a single system and to recognize the operator’s efforts in finishing a product.
The overall experience we had at the 14th China Hair Fair is indeed one for the books. This international event significantly boost our marketing efforts and business growth.
